Smallville Season 3 Review

Having Just completed Season 3 of Smallville I shall share my thoughts on this season. one of the most defining characteristics of this season is the every increasing influence of Lonel Luthor in the plots, a dark figure that is increasingly more intent on finding out Clarks secrets. Episode 13 was a bit jarring in that out of the blue we had Pete driving race cars in street races, prior to this all we saw him drive were old classic cars.

The season progressed with clarks history being revealed more and more, the caves being an important location for new pieces of the puzzle. as the season came to a close we were left with a great finale, Chloe and her father were possible dead, Clark was gone to someplace though a portal in the caves, Lana was gone to paris, Lex was possible poisoned, Pete was leaving smallville after being spooked by the rouge FBI agent, choosing to live with his mother than indanger clark's secret and finally Lionel is in jail. Things are not well in smallville, it was a very exciting finale and makes for a great opening to season 4.

This season was perhaps less on action (even though there were some cracking explosions) and more on clarks true destiny and how it was straining his relationships with his family and friends but overall a good season
